Calray Electric provides a full range of electrical contracting services throughout Southern California and beyond. Our expertise spans new construction and renovations, commercial tenant improvements (TIs), ongoing service and support for existing clients, design-build pre-construction services, and conventional electrical system configuration, installation, and management.

Our mission is to provide exceptional electrical contracting services to General Contractors who support federal agencies. We strengthen America’s military communities while providing a high standard of living and industry-leading training for our employees, setting us apart from the rest.

About the Owner, Robert Guillory

A San Diego native and resident of Encinitas since 1996, Robert Guillory has owned and operated electrical contracting businesses since 2008. During his early career, Robert honed his skills as a journeyman electrician with two local San Diego contractors. He led large-scale projects requiring meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and leadership to manage crews and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Drawn to customer interaction, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results, Robert founded Calray Electric in 2011 with a focus on excellent service, innovative solutions, and timely project execution. With decades of experience in the electrical field, he is an expert in providing electrical services for commercial, industrial, and federal government clients—with a special knack for design-build projects.

Outside of work, Robert is a dedicated husband and father of three, and a devoted Padres fan. He enjoys golfing, spending time with his family and watching his son hit bombs. He brings the same passion, dedication, and attention to detail to every client and project.
